pardon the title, my title is ususally whatever song is in my head or whatever is in my head
i've spent 6 hours in the library, having fun. reading magazines and art books and of course, making the most out of my premium membership, which give me the luxury of high speed internet for a whole year, FREE. dude it's so fast! it only need like 2 minutes to fully load style bubble, mybe less! cool.
one thing missing in the library: no cute guys i can stalk. hawhawhaw

i recently discovered that:
idr 30000 for just hanging out in some cafe, sipping caffe lattes can pay one elementary school student's tuition
idr 45000 to buy some random magazines or CDs can pay one junior high student's.
idr 60000 for, say, movie tickets and popcorns can pay one high school student's.
i think that's insane. i'm insane. my friends are insane, too. we, like, spend all those money having fun, regardless of those poor kids, uneducated kids that is, that wants and *needs* to go to school. dude, if the future is us, i think it won't be very good, UNLESS, we do something about it. thanks to trax FM 101.4 to inspire me and sampoerna foundation. Dear fans and friends,

Today is a sad day. Because it is on this day that we, the members of Matchbook Romance, have decided to part ways and go on an indefinite hiatus. This was not at an easy decision for us to come to, as it seems it's taken months for the words to even form on the tips of our tongues. Its a decision that we thought we would never have to make, but unfortunately, after 5 years its a decision that best suits our situations.

We're going to miss all of our adoring fans, and friends that we've made on this adventure. We thank all of you for letting this thing we started into your hearts and for holding us in such high regard. We love all of your stories of traveling across the country just to see us play one show, and we love all the amazing gifts you guys have handcrafted for us personally. You will not be forgotten, and hopefully the music of Matchbook Romance won't be either.

So yes, today is a sad day, but it is also a good one. This is our chance to leave on a good note and forge ahead in the world to see what else is out there. We hope you guys will understand, and we hope you will look forward to the next time you hear from us.

i love them. at least their album voices. how they are different from the bunch. how they are very good. but i hate stories and alibies. anyway, my favorite shirt is a matchbook. comfiest. dude i'm so sad. farewell matchbook. i hope you come back from the so-called 'indefinite hiatus'.
